Pastor Tim Johnson
Tim married his beloved wife, Taylor, in 2013 and they are the proud parents of four wonderful children. Tim and Taylor are enjoying the blessings and challenges of parenting and consider it one of their greatest joys but also greatest responsibilities.
Tim graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in Christian Ministries in 2006 and from Western Seminary with a Master of Arts (Biblical and Theological Studies) in 2021.
He began serving the Lord at Hillside Community Church in 2006 and stepped into his role as Lead Pastor in December of 2024. Tim finds great joy in teaching God’s Word to the congregation at Hillside, loves to see people come to put their trust in Jesus Christ as Savior, and help believers grow in spiritual maturity.
In his free time, Tim enjoys spending time with his family, getting to know others in the church better, cooking outside on his BBQ, Traeger, or flattop grill, working in the yard, and following Bay Area sports.
Lisa Lindsay
Lisa has worked as one of the secretaries in the office at HCC since November of 2011. She enjoys the work of a secretary but more-so, loves to serve the church in this capacity.
Lisa has been married to her husband, Eric since September of 1999. They have two wonderful children, Ty and Rebecca.
Lisa enjoys reading and baking and loves spending time with her family camping, going to sporting events or playing games.
Cheryl Fridlund
Cheryl has been working at Hillside as one of the secretaries since 2012, and in 2020 added the role of bookkeeper to her duties. She loves working and serving at HCC, and enjoys being able to support others as they serve in the various ministries of the church.
Cheryl has been married to her husband, Eric, since 1994 and they have been blessed with one son, Noah. She enjoys baking, games, puzzles of all kinds, camping and spending time with her family.
