HCC Updates

HCC Family,

In an abundance of caution, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all ministry events through Thursday, April 30th. We will continue to monitor and evaluate the situation moving forward. However, we look forward to the day when we can again gather together to worship our glorious God. We are also making resources available to you below this statement on this web page. Keep an eye out for additional announcements and updates as they become available. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. We love you all and are praying that you stay well!

Worship for this Sunday

Palm Sunday

The King Has Come and Is Coming

“Jesus came the first time, and He is coming again, as the King over all kings. King of Israel, King of all the nations, King of nature and the universe. Until He comes again, there is a day of amnesty and forgiveness and patience. He still rides a donkey and not yet a white war-horse with a rod of iron. He is ready to save all who receive Him as Savior and Treasure and King. Come to Him. Know Him. Receive Him. Live your life in allegiance to Him.” ~ John Piper, Desiring God

Matthew 21:9

And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

Isaiah 6:3

And one called to another and said:

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
the whole earth is full of his glory!”

Psalm 104:31-34

31 May the glory of the Lord endure forever;
    may the Lord rejoice in his works,
32 who looks on the earth and it trembles,
    who touches the mountains and they smoke!
33 I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
    I will sing praise to my God while I have being.
34 May my meditation be pleasing to him,
    for I rejoice in the Lord.  – O Worship the King

Psalm 47:6-9

Sing praises to God, sing praises!
    Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
For God is the King of all the earth;
    sing praises with a psalm!

God reigns over the nations;
    God sits on his holy throne.
The princes of the peoples gather
    as the people of the God of Abraham.
For the shields of the earth belong to God;
    he is highly exalted!

Children’s Worship Time

“Our hope is that The Ology will support dads, moms, teachers, and children’s ministry workers as they seek to to serve the next generation with the gospel.

Because learning about God isn’t just for grownups. It’s for kids, too.”
